Waqaas Rehman is Business Development Lead at InstaDeep, helping enterprises adopt the latest AI breakthroughs and deploy them to improve efficiency and ROI. He firmly believes that AI offers a transformational opportunity for large enterprises to solve age-old operational complexities as well as create new opportunities. Waqaas holds a PhD in physics from the University of Oxford; and as a passionate technologist, previously worked for Deutsche Bahn's venture capital arms, investing in the most promising early-stage startups to drive the adoption of novel technologies in the corporate. It is through this role that he discovered InstaDeep as a differentiated leader in AI delivering measurable value in the railway industry, amongst others.
